Barry Sinclair served in the Irish Air Corps which facilitated him attending
university where he attained a PhD. in theology and a masters degree in
mechanical engineering specialising in aeronautics. He entered the commercial world and
was appointed Chief Buyer for Aer Lingus - The Irish international airline.
He made a dramatic change in his life from a career as an aeronautical
engineer to a career as an internationally renowned entertainer. It was
certainly a powerful change for the better because within 6 years he became
the most sought after entertainer in his field in the world. |
| Barry Sinclair's talents have brought him everywhere, from the White
House in Washington to Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas to the Caribbean, to
Japan, to Australia and the West End in London. He has shared the limelight
with such luminaries as Michael Jackson, Bette Midler, Madonna, Muhammed
Ali, Luther Van Dross, Tony Bennett and Stephen Spielberg. |

Whilst touring the Caribbean Barry Sinclair was caught up in the coup
d'etat in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. After a few hair raising
skirmishes with the revolutionaries Barry Sinclair's aeronautical skills
allowed him to save the lives of four ministers of state by piloting their
plane with it's grateful passengers to Caracas in Venezuela. When President
Arthur Napoleon Robinson was restored to power he extended a personal
invitation to Barry Sinclair to meet with him and perform in Trinidad.

When performing in Tokyo Barry Sinclair brought a large part of the city
to a standstill, and caused traffic chaos by driving through the rush hour
traffic totally blindfolded. Newspaper and television reports described his
driving as perfectly normal, and that the chaos was caused by television
news crews and photo journalists swarming around him and attracting huge
crowds of onlookers. |
During
rehearsals in St. James, Barbados, Barry Sinclair heard the sad news story that a
girl had been lost in a boating accident off the nearby island of St. Lucia.
Her father, Jose Tancamiz, whose boat had capsized, had been rescued, but
was suffering from amnesia, and could not tell the emergency services the
location where he had put his three year old daughter in a life raft. He had
barely any recollection of the incident and because it was several
hours after the disaster, the rescue services didn't know where to look for
the young child. Barry Sinclair immediately suspended rehearsals, contacted the
emergency services, and made his way to the nearby island. The police rescue
services brought him to the tear stricken father, and using hypnotism, Barry
Sinclair was able to recover the man's memory and the child was located by
the emergency services soon afterwards. After a short spell in hospital she
recovered, and Barry Sinclair considers this adventure to be the triumph of
his career to date.
